UPDATE!

Ryan will be offering a new class, The Art of Wine: A Tour of France, in April of 2014 through Whatcom Community College and the Community Food Co-Op in Bellingham. This class will feature an in-depth look into 4 renowned regions of FranceLoire, Rhone, Languedoc and Burgundy. Each class will focus on an entire region and explore the connections linking the “terroir” (the specific combination of soil, climate and environment) with the fine wines and seminal works of art, literature, film and music from the same region. We will sample four wines in each class with food matched to each wine and works of art. Dates, Times and Price TBA

The Art of Wine: A World Tour  This class focuses on the vibrant connection between fine wines and seminal works of art, literature, music and film by the masters that hail from the same region in a riveting multimedia presentation. The class will takes place in 4 parts, each session focusing on the food, art and wine of a different region-  The Mediterranean, South Africa/New Zealand/Australia, The West Coast of the United States and South America. The Art of Wine: A European Tour  Experience the vibrant connection between fine wines and seminal works of art, literature, music and film by the masters that hail from the same region in a riveting, multimedia presentation. Each session is devoted to the wine and art of a different European country- France, Spain, Italy and Germany. We sample 4 wines at each class with food matches to each wine and works of art.
